That direction was finally revealed as I began to write about a new kind of love. I knew that God had a plan for my life and if I was going to find out what it was, I was going to have to search His Word for direction. I began to study the Bible like I never had before. I already knew that the Bible said, "I wish above all things that you prosper and be in good health." Yet I didn't feel I was prospering like I should something had to be wrong. I eventually realized that God had different plans for my singing and writing career, His plans. But even that didn't give me the success that I so much desired. After some unsuccessful attempts at recording popular country tunes, written and recorded by others, I began to write my own country songs which landed me on the prestigious Capitol Records label. In the meantime, I turned my attention to singing once again, this time as a country music artist. I would later learn to check things out for myself, but for then I gave up on my dream.until many years later. He said it would be "impossible" due to the lack of radio frequencies in Tulsa. I told the engineer there about my dream. ![]() As an announcer, I used to dream of one day owning my own station. I took the job and sang with the Weatherfords until being drafted into the Army.įollowing the Army, I found myself back in Tulsa where I began to work as a disc jockey at KFMJ radio station. He was looking for a new lead singer and hoped that I would be interested, which I was. Then an important call came from Earl Weatherford of the Weatherford Quartet. After my school days, I went on to Bethany College and eventually started a singing group, touring and singing in youth revivals during the summer. I remember when a friend of mine put on a record of the gospel group, "The Blackwood Brothers." I knew in my heart that I wanted to sing just like them. Ever since I was just a little boy I've enjoyed singing. In his free time, Aaron spends most of his time hanging out with his family and friends, playing basketball, working out, reading, and listening to good podcasts and music.I was born in Cleveland, Oklahoma, and moved to Bristow when I was in the seventh grade. In March 2019, Aaron and Sarah had their first daughter May Charlotte Ingle.Īaron has been influenced greatly by the pastors at Hope, Young Life, Wake Forest RUF, John Piper, Tim Keller, Matt Chandler, Eugene Peterson, Sinclair Ferguson, John Calvin, and many others. He loves being a pastor and serving the people of Hope and Charlotte. Shortly after, they began attending Hope.Īfter graduating from RTS with his MDiv in May 2017, Aaron was called to be an assistant pastor of men’s ministry and visitor integration at Hope. In July 2014, Aaron and Sarah moved to Charlotte for Aaron to begin his studies at RTS Charlotte. While living in Winston, Aaron worked for several years in the business world before sensing the Lord’s leading for him to attend seminary. The two got married in the spring of 2013 and began living in Winston-Salem. Through RUF, Aaron experienced Gospel community for the first time and also met his wife and best friend, Sarah. ![]() He also became heavily involved in WFU’s campus ministry RUF. ![]() At Wake, Aaron walked on to the Demon Deacons basketball team and subsequently spent much of his time there in the gym. ![]() In 2008, he left there to attend Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. Through this ministry the Lord convicted Aaron of the futility of his accomplishment idol and revealed to him his desperate need of grace. During Aaron’s high school days, he began attending Young Life where he heard the good news of the Gospel.
